The main event — ceremony, celebration, and a party to remember.

12:00 PM — Arrive
Kiddush Lunch
Guests are welcomed with a traditional Kiddush lunch. A wonderful time to mingle before the service begins.

Bar Mitzvah Service
Zach reads from the Torah and leads portions of the Shabbat service. Please be seated by 1:10 PM.

Following Service — Getting to The Cordell
A note on transportation
Parking at Adas Israel is limited and fills quickly — we strongly recommend arriving by drop-off, rideshare, or taxi so you have nothing to worry about.
Free shuttle Recommended
Departs Adas Israel directly to The Cordell after the service. No driving, no parking, no stress.
If driving independently
Head to Garage 36, 4910 Auburn Ave, Bethesda — a 2-min walk from The Cordell. ~$6 for the afternoon.
3:00 PM — Reception
Celebration at The Cordell
The party begins! Food, music, dancing, a manga/anime caricature artist, and an airbrush art station.

Pull up on Quebec St NW, drop off passengers, and go. The free shuttle handles the trip to The Cordell.

Cleveland Park station is a ~10-min walk. Good for guests staying near the Red Line.

Small lot on-site, fills quickly. Not guaranteed — drop-off or rideshare strongly preferred.
Parents of younger guests
Kids can be dropped off at Adas Israel — the free shuttle takes all guests to The Cordell after the service. Parents can pick up at The Cordell (4865 Cordell Ave, Bethesda) when the reception wraps up at 7:00 PM. No need to come to the synagogue at all if you prefer.
